This is one of the many new paintings on the easels. 

I started with a neutral grey gesso, 

then mixed a chromatic black for the oil sketch

using Gamsol to thin the paint.

In a few days I can varnish this little gem...

I really enjoyed painting the reflected light on the glass jar...

I might need to continue with this theme...

I hope to finish this little painting by Friday.

Putting in the reflections on the glass will be a nice challenge. 

I'm really enjoying the new series....so far.

Back in the studio!!

Day 1 - Limoncello #1

So happy to be standing in front of the easel again! 

I'm starting a series of paintings and hopefully can paint on a daily

basis again....at least that is the plan.

Hot here in NH and my studio is about 90 degrees today

so I need to keep taking short breaks so I don't pass out!!

The New Hapmshire Institute of Art will be having their annual Minumental exhibit 

January 25 - February 14th!
